It was quite a culture shock moving to the big city of Austin, Texas when I was eighteen. Despite the overwhelming unfamiliarity of everything – the city, the people, the college life – I was ready for such change. I was excited to call a new place home, to make lifelong friendships, and to take on challenging college courses. Learning and living in Austin certainly has been hard at times but also incredibly fun and memorable. It’s taken true grit and special friendships, just like the campaign work below.
